Well tomorrow I am expected to hand in a paragraph describing what my project for the fourth term is going to be, so lets see how the following sounds…

I plan to make a short cartoon/animation of the adventures of a young dinosaur who is trying to figure out what is his correct food source. It is aiming to be comic in nature, and not worried whether or not it is (pre-)historically accurate. There will be at least three rigged, animated, characters including the main character which will be based on the appearance of a Triceratops.

Well that is the paragraph as it stands currently, guess I will find out how it needs to be changed tomorrow. If I’m lucky, it will stand as it is, and I can move onto the next stage.

Either way, holiday starts on Friday, ya.

Still not much to report.

Instead of working on my 3D recently I’ve been moving flat because the landlord sold the place I was living in.

We now have a new place, and we have done most of the moving. I now have muscles which ache which I didn’t even know I actually had.

I even skipped class this morning as I was so had-it once I finished. Also everything is a mess, and I have no idea where my tablet, my notes, or my portable hard drive with my work is. It won’t be far, plus I have backups, but put all those factors together, and when my alarm went off this morning, I kind of laughed and went back to sleep.

On Wednesday, the tutor is hoping to see a one paragraph description of what my project is going to be for next term (this term finishes this Friday).

The paragraph doesn’t have to be submitted until the second week of next term, so this is just a ‘how does this sound’ kind of meeting.

Either way, maybe a post in a few days, and if not, I will try to post another animation idea from my list.

Hi, haven’t updated the site for a while, thought I’d post a quick idea I had, just to have something new here…

A grumpy looking garden gnome wakes up as the sun rises, starts to smile, goes into the house through the cat door, struggles to get a piece of bread out of the bag, maybe bounces on the bag a couple of times to get it out. Toasts the bread, spreads butter & peanut butter on it, with a big smile is about to eat it, but then somebody comes in. He hides, they yell thanks to somebody out of scene, wandering off with the toast. The Gnome, still smiling comes out, finds his toast is gone, he reverts back to his original grumpy face as he marchs back to where he originally was and goes back to sleep.

Can include things like him trying to climb stairs, and onto the table, maybe trying to sneak past cat, etc.

May try to use the jug cord as a lasso buy end up hitting himself in the head with the plug for his efforts
